The BET Awards have the biggest music acts on tap to rock the stage this year. Show-stopping multi-hyphenate Nicki Minaj, Grammy award-winning singer John Legend, singer/songwriter Jhene Aiko and R&B thug August Alsina have been added to the already star-studded line-up, which includes Pharrell, Drake, K. Michelle, Mack Wilds, Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Lionel Richie and Jennifer Hudson.
Much hype surrounds this year's festivities as Chris Rock will host the award show
“The Oscars don’t want me,” Rock joked during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “The ‘BET Awards’ is for everybody. It’s for white people too. It’s the kind of show where you get Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Superhead on the same show. Michelle Obama … and Rick Ross sitting next to each other.”
